Thanksgiving, 2009

This year we all celebrated Thanksgiving at my mom and dad's who live just down the street from me, and in between my older sis and myself. My little sister Natalie and her husband Frank came up from Springfield, along with my Grandpa and Grandma Nunn, Uncle Mike and his three girls, and my 91 year old Grandma Scott. It's always so wonderful to spend the day with family.
This is my Grandpa Nunn with my oldest daughter Dallas, she is 12. I am not quite sure what's up with yellow glasses, however I bet it must be the "in style" thing when you get to be that age???? hehe
Little Grandma Scott. Thanksgiving would not be the same without her around.

Dallas and Sophie with their Great Grandma Nunn.

My beautiful mom. She always works way too hard on the holidays to make sure that everything tastes just perfect and that everyone has an enjoyable time. I love her sooo much, it is really hard for me to put into words just how much that I love my mom!! I have always been the biggest mommas girl around, way more than my other sisters. One day, on my blog, I will try to express in words everything that my mom means to me. She is everything!!

And I can't leave out Tug! This is suppossed to be Frank and Natalie's dog, however he shares his time between them and my mom and dad. He is treated like a human. I think he believes that he is. Like I told my mom the other day, it is amazing to see how much joy he brings to my dad. He is a very loved dog.

Thanksgiving Part 2

Finally the Church Hayride.......

Our church hayride had to be cancelled twice due to the field being too muddy. But finally the perfect day. Camdenton Lakers made it to the playoffs and Jeff had to be at practice which meant that he was late for the festivities. So once we made it to our location to make smores and roast our hotdogs, I looked out across the field, because we were in the middle of nowhere, and there I saw Jeff making his way past the cow. Stacy immediately went to go meet him. That is determination that Jeff didn't want to miss out on a fun afternoon.
My brother in law Jeff and husband Travis

Church Hayride October 2009

The church that we attend is small but we are always doing such fun things and the kids look so forward to it. This particular day was scheduled for the hayride. It turned out to be such a beautiful day,and rather warm for October. Here you can see Cooper D. I was on the trailer in front of him. I am sure he was probably breaking some rule by hanging off of the back end. He has such a good time.
Ellie not so sure at first if she liked walking through the tall grass. Such the little Diva! hehehe

Random winter pictures 2009

I realize that I won't have too many years left where I can tell all 4 of my kids exactly how to pose.....My 2 older ones I am sure will resist. But until then, isn't this just great? This was taken after church one sunday. And I will admit that there was about a thousand other things that they would rather have been doing. But it didn't take very long.Ellie before preschool one day eating breakfast. I thought that she looked so cute.

Poor Tricksy Tripod. What a good kitty she still proves to be. Ellie had her all stuffed in her baby carrier all morning long and that silly cat almost slept through the whole thing.

Dottie is sooooo pretty but is still so mean to our little three legged Tricksy! I never realized that cats were so territorial. It has been 5 months and she still has zero tolerance for Tricksy. I have given up on them ever becoming friends.

Cooper on "hat day" at school. It looks as if he grew a long dark pony tail over night. This was soooo Cooper D. I am sure that all of the teachers just loved it.

Cooper loves to celebrate! He has always been that way. So when it is Birthday time, there is nothing better. Actually the one thing that he kept asking for was for 30 of his friends to all come over, and yes he did have a list to back that up. However, that did seem a little overwhelming to his dad and myself. So we all agreed that he could choose 3 of his closest friends to spend the night. It was a wild and crazy time. Playing out on the swing
Cooper and Eli. He has an older brother the same age as Jackson, Coops older brother. So these two get to see each other often.

Going through all of the presents

Pizza Hut fun. Look close and you can see little Ellie Grace.

Birthday fun for Coop.

Cooper blowing out his candles with Eli.
Basketball fun with Coops older sister Dallas

At the movie gallery, Cooper acting silly with the cotton candy.

Happy......because he knew that there was money in that card!!

The crazy crew. 3 out of the 4 of these little dudes not only have brothers but older brothers, and are very much alike. One little dude only has sisters. Can you tell which one?? Yes you guessed it!! The one on the end. He was so sweet and precious and did have a wonderful time. It was his first sleepover. I did baby him a little more than all of the rest. He was so quiet and precious. He is one of Coops best friends in his classroom.

Family Fall fun at Warsaw!

My older sister Stacy really encouraged our family to go to Warsaw this Fall. It is something they do every year, and really enjoy all that it has to offer. So we marked it on our calendar, and off we went. It was a special day. Aunt Natalie and Uncle Frank even met up with us later in the day. The super seven , The Ezards, and Shores
Bo and Jackson just had to have a turkey leg. It was HUGE.
Cooper with his walking stick. He brought his own money and was determined to buy something. When he saw these carved beauties, he had to have one. I explained to him that he had to use his own money. They ranged in price from 10.00 to 20.00 dollars. I showed him one for ten bucks, and he looked at the man who was selling them and asked..."Do you have any of these for .25 cents?" PRECIOUS!!!

Ellie helping this fella churn some butter.

Dallas took a turn too.

It was "chilly" outside, and it was so awesome to walk into the old school, as well as this old cabin to feel the warmth of the fire on your face. It was so cozy! I loved the experience of Warsaws Fall festival. It really took you back in time.
Jackson sitting outside of the teepee.

demonstration on how to make lace. AMAZING!!

An old time school house. Really neat. when you walked in there was a teacher in the front teaching a spelling lesson and anyone could sit down at the desks and participate in the spelling bee.

An old time smoke house.
