Dallas, with her braces that she had put on 3 days earlier. I think that she is still as beautiful as ever. She wears them well!!

Me.....Looking rather tired as the Christmas festivities come to a close.

Christmas morning at home....and Cooper's poop soap

Christmas morning the kids, except for Ellie who was in bed with mom and dad, woke us up at 5:00 am to open presents. Yes it was quite early, however I remember as a child always waking up super early too. It's a special time, so to the coffee pot I went. Jackson
Dallas

I felt so bad for Ellie. She was so excited for Christmas morning and then woke up with a belly ache. It would be a little later in the morning before she really felt like opening presents. Thankfully as the morning progressed, she would be just fine.

If you knew my Cooper D., It would not surprise you that one of the presents he requested was "poop soap." So his daddy was in charge of that one. It was called the truck stop turd. Yes, very gross, and looked amazingly real. Even more gross. Cooper was thrilled.

Sorry for the duplicate pic. It was suppossed to be him bent over laughing. Not good enough at this to know how to delete this.

Christmas 2009 at Nonie and Poppy's

Our family usually celebrates a total of three Christmases. We start the celebration on Christmas Eve at mom and Dad's with Both of my sisters and their families. (except for now, it is only Natalie and Frank) The day was full of excitement and many wii competitions. We had already opened our presents and Ellie and her daddy were playing with her doll house. Bo and Jackson I am sure were deep into some sort of video game competition.
Frank and Natalie were tuckered. Here Frank is catching himself a little nap.

The kids having a blast

Ellie saying that she is really ready to go home for Santa to come.

My sweet Jackson

A fun day at KSPR 33 with Aunt Natalie

Aunt Natalie invited all of her neices and nephews to do a cooking segment with her......decorating christmas cookies.....She thought it best NOT to do this live. I can't imagine why not??? Anyway we went up for the recording, and the kids all got a tour of the studio. It was so much fun. All seven of them at the news desk
In the kitchen during the filming. Nat does such a good job with the kids.

Ellie at the weather desk. Maybe a future meteorologist in our midst??

Dallas and Sophie. Both 12, and at a very silly age. Typical pre-teens. They love their Aunt Nat, however they both agree that she is much more "boring" now that she is married.

Thanksgiving, 2009

This year we all celebrated Thanksgiving at my mom and dad's who live just down the street from me, and in between my older sis and myself. My little sister Natalie and her husband Frank came up from Springfield, along with my Grandpa and Grandma Nunn, Uncle Mike and his three girls, and my 91 year old Grandma Scott. It's always so wonderful to spend the day with family.
This is my Grandpa Nunn with my oldest daughter Dallas, she is 12. I am not quite sure what's up with yellow glasses, however I bet it must be the "in style" thing when you get to be that age???? hehe
Little Grandma Scott. Thanksgiving would not be the same without her around.

Dallas and Sophie with their Great Grandma Nunn.

My beautiful mom. She always works way too hard on the holidays to make sure that everything tastes just perfect and that everyone has an enjoyable time. I love her sooo much, it is really hard for me to put into words just how much that I love my mom!! I have always been the biggest mommas girl around, way more than my other sisters. One day, on my blog, I will try to express in words everything that my mom means to me. She is everything!!

And I can't leave out Tug! This is suppossed to be Frank and Natalie's dog, however he shares his time between them and my mom and dad. He is treated like a human. I think he believes that he is. Like I told my mom the other day, it is amazing to see how much joy he brings to my dad. He is a very loved dog.

Thanksgiving Part 2

My niece Sophie with my first cousins, her second, kelsey, Megan and Katie Nunn
Cooper D. admiring the beautiful turkey and being very tempted to tear into it! I think that he was very hungry!

Little sis Natalie, laying around lots on Thanksgiving, being very tired!!......hummmmm..............

Jackson, Brother Cooper, and cousin Bo.

Jackson and his uncle Frank. The 2 with the most freckles in the family! Love it!!
