Surprise Arrival................cont............

Looky who decided to come when we were all away on a family vacation? You guessed it, little baby Hays. Our family made our way to see him the first chance that we had, which was the very next morning after getting home at 9:00 the night before. He was only working on 4 days old. Jackson thought he was pretty neat, but maybe just a little boring for now!!
Oh Ellie loves babies, especially boy ones! When Aunt Natalie told her she was having a baby, Ellie said..........."it better be a boy and I don't want him to have any hair" Ellie is very pleased with baby Hays.!!

Dallas couldn't wait to get her hands on her little cousin. She is alot like me when it comes to "nurturing" She loves little kids, babies, and loves the idea of babysitting. I was always like that too. When Hays' momma was born, I was the same age as Dallas, and I was in 'heaven". My own little live baby to take care of, and that is exactly what I did. I babysat her in the summer while mom went to work and many evenings.......Dallas thinks I was so lucky, and I have to say that I was. So, Dallas begs me to have one more baby so she can experience what I did, to which I say NOT GOING TO HAPPEN, 4 is plenty. Now we can just spoil little Hays!!

I have to say that my little aunry Cooper was the most excited the night that Hays was born while we were in Georgia. We all waited up that night and it was around 11:00 when the calls started coming in that he had finally arrived!! Coop jumped out of bed to go and get all of the other kids to hear the news. He was so excited. And when we got the first text picture, Cooper started talking to him and kissed the phone. So Sweet!!!

I so love our baby Hays!! I knew that I would love him, but I can relate it to carrying my own, in the way that you don't know how much love you will have until you hold them and see them for the first time. That is how I felt with Hays!! The LOVE was stronger than I even expected it to be!!

Mothers Day 2010...I LOVE YOU MOM!!!

My Mamma with her 3 daughters, and her 2 oldest Granddaughters! What my Mom means to me, ........WOW, I don't think that I could put into words. I remember when I had my first born daughter and I bought this beautiful picture with a poem of a Mothers love for her child. On the back of this picture, was an envelope for me to insert a message for a keepsake for her to read as she got older. The envelope is still empty to this day and she is going on 13.
The reason is because my love for her was so intense, that there were absolutely NO words that I could have ever written to express how my heart felt for her, so I wrote nothing. That is also how I am feeling about my mom. It is hard for me to put into words the love that I have always had for her even more so to this day. I have always been such a mammas girl. I am so lucky to know that my mom is there for me at any time of the day or night....She really is my very best friend! My childhood memories are of a mom who always believed in me, was my biggest fan, my protector, she prayed over me, encouraged me, directed me, and only wanted the absolute best for me in all things. She always told me that "pretty is as pretty does" and never let me say that I "couldn't" do something. She also taught me how to always accept a compliment. She was always a giver and still is. Even though we never had an over abundance of money growing up, I thought we were "rich". I know now it was all of the love that was always giving! I was a happy child, and because of her, I am a happy adult. She is the first one I go to for advice, and with 4 kids, I need alot of it. I aspire to do as good of a job raising my kids, that my mom did with me. And I can only hope that my children will always love me the way that I have always loved my Mamma! I LOVE YOU MOM!!!!!!!

Me with my 4 children on Mothers Day 2010. I love them all so much. They give me so much joy, excitement, love and .........exhaustion!! hehe

Meet Our Five new babies!!

Look and see what has been keeping my kids very occupied for the past week and a half! The face of little Pear, sleeping with a full belly I am sure
Pile of Kittens only 2 days old

Jackson with his pick, "Dreamer" She is cute, however she is the "cry baby" of the bunch. she only wants her Mamma!

Kitty Love

Our three-legged Cat had babies! I agreed to let her have one Litter of Kittens. I remember growing up and going to the farm where my Grandparents lived, loving on kittens and how special that was to me. Memories that I still carry with me up to this day. I wanted my kids to know that kind of special love for baby animals that I got to experience. It's awesome!! Cooper D. with his Pick of the litter.......Eddie. He reminded me of Eddie on the "Munsters" He was the only boy in the litter. This was taken of him when he was only 2 days old. Coops in love.
This is Eddie today. a week and a half old. They just opened their eyes. Eddie is a favorite with all of us. He is kinda a free spirit, doesn't hardly ever "cry", likes to wander off and keeps mamma kitty in a "tither. " He is a neat little kitty.

Little Pearl. She has a really wide little face and is beautiful. She has a twin named Piper. These 2 look like their mamma.

Zoie, Ellies pick. She is a twin to Eddie, only a girl. Isn't she just beautiful?

Little Pearl once again.

Easter Sunday 2010

Arent they just awesome? Cooper and Ellie were the only ones who did the Easter Egg hunt this year at our house before church. The big kids were the ones who hid the eggs. My babies are growing up:(
Ellie, now age 5. She is petite compared to my other 3. However she is my baby, so she probably seems smaller than she really is. I can't believe that she is going to be starting kindergarten.

Dallas, now12 and going to be 13 in May. Isn't she just beautiful? However I have adopted a phrase from my grandma and my mom......which is ..."pretty is as pretty does" I am sure that she is already sick of that saying like I always was, but it is so true and I am sure that one day she will use it with her daughter also.

It NEVER fails, every Easter there is always one who thinks that someone is hogging the eggs, during the "hunt." And it is usually Ellie who is getting the short end of the stick since she is the youngest. However Cooper was being obnoxious. I know that is hard to believe for those of you who know him. ha He was so excited about Easter and had extra loads of energy on this day.

My oldest son Jackson. Now 10 going to be 11 in May. Love those Freckles!!!!

Easter 2010 cont.......

Ellie with her big brother Jackson at Sunday morning breakfast at church. I've always thought that they look alot alike.
what a nice surprise. Ellies little friend Kylie was a guest at church today.

For Easter lunch our family went to my sisters house, the Shores. My mom and dad were also there. A few days earlier Sophie Bo and Bears other grandparents got them 4 baby ducks for Easter to live on this beautiful side of the lake. The kids all had great fun with them. In this picture are my 2 boys getting in the lake with the ducks. I told Cooper not to go any further. Do you think that he did? I will give you one guess..............look at his face and you have your answer.

Little Ellie with either Clementine, or Priscilla, not sure which

My oldest, Dallas
